The Future Action Summit 2025 (FAS 2025) in Kuala Lumpur brought together a diverse cohort of 135 young leaders representing over 61 nationalities for a transformative international summit focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Held in the vibrant heart of Malaysia, this Four-day summit served as a melting pot of ideas, cultures, and youth-led innovations, driving forward a global vision of inclusive, sustainable development by 2030.
The first day encouraged delegates to reflect on “The Role of Youth in Achieving SDGs by 2030”, interactive ice-breakers, and group discussions. Interactive sessions included the “SDG Snapshots” activity and a powerful Youth, Peace & Security panel featuring global speakers.
Day two focused on capacity building, providing participants with tools for project design, policy creation, and partnership development. It emphasized innovation, teamwork, and transforming ideas into SDG-aligned actions, ending with a cultural celebration of diversity and unity.
The final day highlighted implementation and impact, with delegates presenting creative, sustainable solutions to global challenges. Sessions explored the power of storytelling in SDG advocacy and concluded with recognition, reflection, and inspiration for future action.
